Talofa lava!

I’m Paige Schendelaar-Kemp – a proud Samoan (Vailele) and Māori (Ngāti Kahu) swimmer. I earned a full athletic scholarship to Florida State University, where I captained the Women’s Swim & Dive team.

Now based in New Zealand and training with Pukekohe Swim Club, I represent Samoa on the world stage as our home pool undergoes renovations.

At the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau, I was honoured to be Samoa’s flag bearer at the closing ceremony after winning 4 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals in swimming. I’m also a two-time World Championship swimmer.

Driven by passion. grounded in culture.
